By listening to growers, shippers and supermarkets, Nicholson have developed
a successful range of field machinery which effectively minimizes crop damage and reduces labour costs. Models include field toppers for carrots, red beet etc, potato ridgers and carrot cleaner loaders.

CARROT TOPPER
The Nicholson Carrot Topper features a
heavy duty synchronised drive to facilitates overlapping, high tensile steel blades: flat blades to slice under the ridge plus twisted blades to lift dying tops. The high lift design ensures efficient suction and cutting. There
is a choice of front or rear mounted models.

CARROT CLEANER LOADER
Carrots are loaded into the hopper and conveyed by cleaning webs and/or coils
and elevated to the receiving wagon. The
web action effectively removes soil, trash, clods and stones to ensure a clean consignment ready for grading. There is
the option of a covered pick off table.

RIDGER
The ‘All-Season’ Ridger gives you the ability to control weeds, re-form ridges and maximise
the effect of irrigation throughout the season.

The variable shape and length of the weeding tines give very effective weeding capability
both on the tops and sides of ridges. The
main frame is adjustable from 60 to 72 inch wheelings, 30 – 36 inch rows. All other
elements are adjustable to suit the crop and
conditions, rows and beds.
